In the gifted hands of chef Eric Adjepong and decorator Janell Adjepong, Pinch & Plate thoughtfully plans and produces customized, full-service dinner parties in guests' private homes and venues. All that's needed is a dining table with seating to fit the party size, access to a fully functional kitchen, and Pinch & Plate handles the rest.

What does Pinch & Plate Do?

Building on the specifications and desires of the event host, Eric and Janell work together to:

  • Source local ingredients for the menu

  • Prepare and serve a plated, multi-course menu in keeping with the theme and tone of the dinner

  • Provide and arrange table settings, decor, and floral design

  • Assist with the overall feel and experience of the event

  • Handle all of the clean-up

The result: memorable, intimate, and impeccably appointed culinary experiences that the host can actually enjoy with their guests.

We're excited to partner with Cork Wine Bar & Market in Washington, D.C. to create a wine experience at your Pinch & Plate dinner party that matches the beauty and care of our food and decor. Working with Diane Gross, who co-owns the acclaimed boutique wine purveyor and offers a deep knowledge of small production Old World wines, we are extending our services to offer hand-selected wines from Cork to pair with chef’s custom menus.

Hosts will have the option of choosing from two tiers of wine pairings for their meal, or, for an additional fee, can invite Diane to be part of the evening to pour and discuss each wine in person. The pricing structure is as follows:

PAIRING ONE: Boutique Wines - $40 per person (five selections - sparkling wine to start, plus a pairing for each course)

PAIRING TWO: Estate Wines - $70 per person (five selections - sparkling wine to start plus a pairing for each course)

BESPOKE EXPERIENCE: Bring Diane and her expert wine knowledge to your next event (pricing may vary per dinner party)
